The need for these measures has increased in recent years as the recession has increased poverty and reduced support services. In the meantime, funding for the counselling centres themselves has been cut. These services are essential to ensure that everyone has access to the law. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to an increase in the need for free legal aid centres to meet ever-growing needs The South West Legal Support Trust has organised legal marches across the region to raise funds that: Employees of the national law firm Foot Anstey LLP in Exeter participated in the South West Legal Support Trust`s Exeter Legal March, to support free legal advice in the region. The current crisis has put immense pressure on legal services across the UK, facing unprecedented demand from people desperately in need of free or affordable advice. These services are at breaking point and need our help now more than ever.
