Google Legal Compliance

Protecting information on mobile and desktop devices can be a major concern for customers. Google Workspace customers can use Endpoint Management11 to protect corporate data on users` personal devices and on organization-owned devices. By enrolling devices for management, users gain secure access to Google Workspace services, and organizations can set policies to protect devices and data through device encryption and screen lock or password enforcement. If a device is lost or stolen, corporate accounts can be removed from mobile devices and desktop device users can be remotely disconnected. IT admins can also manage and configure Windows 10 devices from the Admin console, and users can use existing Google Workspace account credentials to sign in to Windows 10 devices and access apps and services with single sign-on (SSO). Reports allow customers to monitor compliance and gain insights about users and devices. To learn more about Endpoint Management, click here. We provide transparency about how data is used in our advertising products. We ask users for permission to use the data to personalize ads and to provide transparency about how data is used in real time through the “Why This Advertisement” feature. We provide detailed explanations on the use of data on safety.google.com and in our privacy policy.

We also provide users with transparency about the data Google stores about them in their Google Account, where users can view and manage their data, privacy, and security settings. Users can control the use of data for ad personalization and for all ads served by Google, including our Google Marketing Platform products, in their advertising settings. As part of our ongoing commitment to giving users control over how they manage their privacy, we`ve updated our account creation to give users more options over what data they want to store in their account.
