In carrying out this mandate, LGD`s counsel-advisors provide training in all areas of criminal law and criminal procedure, including constitutional law, authority and jurisdiction, search and seizure, use of force, self-incrimination, judicial evidence, courtroom testimony, electronic law and evidence, criminal laws and civil liability. While much of LGD`s training mission focuses on newly hired law enforcement officers, LGD also provides training to advanced law enforcement officers and lawyers through the Continuing Legal Education Program (CLETP) and related legal updates.
